Glad it was us that got him the sack. I was getting sick of seeing his smug face on the sideline when they beat us, as if he was some sort of coaching genius.
Seahawks v Rams has been chosen for Sunday Night Football next week. Glad it's not on Sky Sports but looks like it's gonna be a late one next Sunday. Thankfully no work on Monday - can't wait

| Quote Mark="Mark"We were awful mnate(Elisha especially) It's a shame as he was improving year on year. To give a QB as good as Rodgers 6 extra attempts with the ball is inexcusable. Full credit to your defence as well. Last week is what really killed us though. That defensive collapse has clearly left a mental scar on what was the NFL's 2nd ranked. Good luck in the playoffs. Can see you doing well.'"
Very good victory for us last night.
You guys just looked completely mentally gone, Eli didn't even look interested. While our D was great the INT's were pretty routine when you can get a team one dimensional like we did (although Shields was never an INT and i didn't think it was at the time). The fumbles were just excellent play by Clay and C-Wood. Matthews never gives up and Woodson just goes for the ball.
Rodgers performed excellently and could do anything. You pressed and we went over the top. You backed off and gave us the slants.
Hopefully we can sneak in to the play-offs. Maybe we can make an impact but we are so up and down that i'm not fully confident of us doing anything spectacular.
You reckon Coughlin will keep his job?

| I'd disagree there, he can run some beautiful routes. One example a couple weeks ago where he faked a post route so brilliantly that by the time the QB threw the ball, the DB had gone 15 yards the wrong way.

Apparently he was NCAA 60m sprint champion and did 4.25 over 40 yards at the rookie combine.
Just watched the opening kickoff return again as I recorded it last night. I reckon he goes 99 yards in about 11 seconds whilst avoiding everyone with all that gear on.

Someone with experience of winning the big games will do for me, Gruden, Cower etc, but not sure how much money those guys would want.

| 1st time I have ever wanted to see ATL win tonight. THey win this week and it all comes down to the game against the Saints next week. We win, were in the playoffs. We lose and were out.

You also need the Giants to lose next week. If ATL win tonight and you win next week but the Giants also win then they are #6.
I really really hope this happens though. We would then get to be the #5 seed* and play St. Louis/Seattle. A far easier proposition to go to a .500 team with a QB in his first year starting rather than going to Philly/Chicago.

| Looking forward to the game tonight, I think that both New Orleans and Atlanta have somehow managed to sneak in under the radar so to speak, they have both been great but no one has really talked about them from what I have seen(not very much admittedly). I think one of these 2 teams will be representing the NFC in the super bowl

Its like a game of Madden against one of those so and so`s that never punts/kicks a field goal and just goes for it on 4th down no matter where they are on the field

Yeah, but im going on the basis that you wont beat the Bears .
Its very complicted until after tonight but even if the Siants win tonight we can still make it if the Skins beat the Giants next week and the Bears beat Green Bay. That is as long as we beat the Saints at their place which we did last year with a 2 win team at the time. Funnily enough it was the week after we had stuffed the Seahawks on the West Coast too. Hopefully thats an omen.
Anyway I have just been on a scenario calculator and this is how I think (hope) it will end up.
sports.yahoo.com/nfl/playoffscen ... 6=45410114
How much did we need to hold on in the last minute against Detroit last week though. This would have made things so much easier.
