Agree with the 2nd part Keith but you're being a bit harsh with the 'good effort' - outstanding effort from both teams, only tempered by the comedy goalkeeping. Cech is finished.

IMO Drogba's as soft as 5hit. He's a big lad, but unfortunately he's also a big girl.



I reckon he was probably down injured about 5 times tonight. A couple of times when he was down it would've been advantageous for Chelsea if he was to get up off the floor and just carry on. But that's just not Drogba. If he only stayed down when it was convenient for CFC then he'd deserve all the criticism but IMO the fact he stays down after any pain suggests that he isn't the "cheater" people say but he's instead just a drama queen.

Was he rested or is the Injury more of a problem than what he indicated it was...

well when he was "injured" off the pitch and rolled back on to stop the game that was just pathetic

And it was a blatant foul on Drogba in the first place. I don't know how the ref could allow that to go on when he blew up for practically anything after that.

To go there without being given a chance in hell to win that game, and to score 4 goals, it makes me proud to be a Liverpool Football Club supporter.



Without your best player and our 2nd best being kept out of the game it shows that the desire from the boys was unbelievable.



A large rant about Chelsea could finish this post off but id much rather concentrate on my team and how immense we were today.

What a game, massive credit Liverpool for what will go down as a 'classic'. I don't even think 4-4 tells the full story.



Credit Hiddink, his HT teamtalk, credit him for a massively bold tactical substitution too, taking Kalou off after 35 mins and replacing him with Anelka who playing out of position had a hand in two of the four Chelsea goals, nobody has mentioned this, I thought that was a masterstroke.



Drogba was immense, absolutely immense. Sure, he stays down a bit, but Torres aside, there's no better forward in World Football when he does that, he'll just get slated from fans for the other side of his game, but he won Chelsea the game tonight, amazing.



I can't quite believe what I watched, 6-3 it was over, 6-5 within mins it wasn't, just madness.



On the Cech 'finished' thing, I know he had a mere tonight, but he was excellent last Wednesday, he came and claimed everything, and made a couple of vital saves at Anfield, although there's something not quite right with him.
