I still think AVB will be here next year, everyone knows Chelsea have a very old group of players and massive personalitys so any manager will struggle except Jose.



Part of the results this season have been down to AVB and part down to the players. IMO some aren't good enough, players like Meireles, Bosingwa, Lampard, Drogba, Torres, Kalou, Mikel. We need at least 2 midfielders who can play the killer ball as currently we don't have one except Mata but hes playing wide.

Chelsea aren't the same team without Robben, Makalele and Ballack. And until they get quality players like that back in the side, they won't win anything!! Mikel, Kalou, Meireles etc all nowhere near good enough to be starting players, good squad players for the odd game here and there, but thats about it!!

He also wasn't with Leeds when they were a great side.



He was decent but not a standout player IMO.

RE the Leeds team: Jordan was not a regular the while time he was there. He was never particularly prolific and offered little outside the box. He may have played in Milan but they were not the great team then than they have been in other periods of their history. It was pretty much Milan's leanest period.



RE the United team: That team was not very good at all. Gary Bailey, Arthur Albiston, Sammy McIlroy, Jimmy Nichol, Martin Buchan, Gordon McQueen and the Greenhoff's were average players. While Mickey Thomas was the 70s/80s equivalent of Lee Trundell. That team proved they were never good enough to win the league. It was only when Robson came along that United looked a top team.



Coppell was a top player though. Superb on his day.

I see Lee Clarke has been sacked by Huddersfield. Seems a tad strange as they are still well within chance of achieving promotion this season. Does this hint that he's off to one of the vacant jobs? If so seems daft to sack him as they will have to pay compensation when they could have received compensation had he left for another club.

Sacking Lee Clark comes across as a woeful board decision. Unless something comes out later that he warranted sacking.
