For the first time during this saga I had some sympathy with Dalglish on saturday. I believed him when he said that he didnt know that Suarez had refused to shake Evra's hand, at least that seemed to explain his shocked expression and some of the bluster that followed.



If the roles had been reversed I'm sure that Gill would have made Fergie 100% aware of what had happened two hours earlier before he spoke to the media. They would probably have agreed on a line to take which minimised the damage to the club's reputation. For some reason LFC seemed to throw Dalglish naked and unarmed into the lions den. It probably summed up the lack of leadership from LFC's hierarchy.

Getting a low win stat is only to be expected when you are managing at teams like the newly promoted Sunderland and Wolves. But on the other hand you've got to factor in the fact he has taken sides to the Premier League as well., It;s not like he is without merit as a manager. Any Championship side with ambitions of getting into the PL will be interested, and McCarthy has also kept sides in the PL as well.
