I do think an element of this was down to one of your posters, who spouted on about how we could only get a sellout when Wigan came to town, and that we were part time supporters. I must admit, I was surprised that the West Stand was totally full. |

How the HELL are we where we are at the moment?!!......Couldnt beleive the breaks one especially.
On those stats we're a top two team this season, compare us with Leeds and Saints and our stats are comparable and favourable. This does go along with what I have been thinking for a while though...we are clearly a top 2/3 club but something is seriously wrong to have those stats with only 6 wins from 15?!!
For me, its the fact we dont have a killer instinct and can't break teams down as a team. The fact we're well down on the attacking kicks and Runs from Dummy Half also show our failings in the most important postitions halfback and hooker.
For me this proves my point, we need a coach with tactics and moves who can get our players playing as a team, and we also need a WC halfback to go with tompkins to give us some orchestration in the middle. Get that and I think we will quickly go back to where we belong!'"
We aren't actually that far off the top sides in this competion (I don't think we have a great squad but there aren't any great sides in the SDL).
A better coach who actually prepared the team and made them practise and then execute plays would have got us a top 4 spot this season. Unfortunately we have Noble, who just can't get this team to deliver results. |
