Then there was the Huddersfield incident and that drove the group apart. The brigantes always created a good atmosphere especially at away games, thats what our fans miss. The displays, the chants, the atmosphere. Not the hooligan image. We didnt drive the brigantes out, they drove themselves out. It was always going to turn sour when they classed themselves as Ultras.'"

I didnt say we had better fans than just London, i said we have the best in the league. The award for the best supported club proves that. Im pretty sure our fans dont just sing Wigan Wigan Wigan all the time. You're probably just a bitter Widnes fan. |

What they did for the final 20 minutes of that game was something very special in terms of how to support your team, of course a lot of our fans just point to how succesful we are on the pitch as a way of ignoring the fact that our support is absolutely shocking at the moment.

Ive sang my lungs out and applauded wildly in defeat, when we've put up a good fight. Widnes were an awful on the night, they gifted tries for fun..how anyone can be happy with that performance beggars belief |
