I know that they'll have stock to get rid of, but I think it is pretty poor that the club are still selling those limited edition CC final shirts with Applicado on the front, even after this news has broke.

I cant remember, There was only a very small snippet about it in the local rag and didn't hear anything after that...
It's fair enough that they have old stock to get rid of, they usually sell it cheaper anyway. I went in to get one last week, they had the home one for 25 i think it was and the CC one for 35 so I bought both me and my missus a Challenge Cup one. It's her first ever trip to Wembley so thought it would be a nice touch for her.
It's not the end of the world. It's just a sponsor but to charge extra for a challenge cup final shirt on the premise it will be the one used in the final to then change it is a bit unfair on those who have paid for the shirts. |
