this thread is very amusing....can't wait to come back when he either gets one match or nowt.

As a Wire fan I think Bridge did not attempt to hit Jeffries with an elbow to the head - not in a million years.

But I do think Jeffries was tackled and there was no need to go in with the forearm to the chest.

It was not pretty - and it was totally unnecessary.

But the last couple of weeks it seems like Bridge has been wanting to take his anger out on players on the pitch and I was calling for TS to bring him off before he got sent of....



Because I belive the tackle was already completed and consider the follow up unnecessary I think he should get a 1 match ban - for the sake of rugby league. Too often the refs duck out of making decisions on the pitch. There do need to be more red and yellow cards in my opinion - probably not popular with may but just my view.

What's he angry for? He's starting for a great team and his team are last year's league leaders and are top of the league this season with no defeats? Silly man

Just had a baby girl,sleepless nights, nappy changes, moody wife and everything else what goes with a new baby.

I heard him too, what an emptyhead, claimed it was "OK as it didn't impact the head"......probably only because Bridge missed. I think the GMR interviewers were a bit lost for words when he spouted that shee-ite, so politely parked him, and moved swiftly on.



If you watch the replay video, and I'm sure Red hall will (as they have pulled far less controversial incidents this season) you can see it had intent written all over it.....unless of course it's viewed through primrose and blue specs. FFS it's Rugby league not WWF.

He's seemed very angry over the last few games, although he always looks fairly serious. Think he will get a one match ban, which might be a blessing in disguise. If he carried on that way, he might have got himself sent off and a defeat for us.

Just seen it for the first team, and it really is a shocker.



Forearm contact with the chest first, but his elbow ends up pushed into his chin, if that's only 1 game he's lucky IMO.

If it was the incident which resulted in Lauaki getting involved and recieving a talking-to, then I reckon it will be a grapple tackle-type offense as he appeared to have Tuson around the neck. It was difficult to tell from my seat in the South Stand though as Sa had his back facing were I was. Don't think it was placed on report though
