JJ's or Flame, after watching Wigan and having get the bus back home with me mates we used to wait for the 600 outside of the cowsheds and watch them all going in thinking 'fooking ell I wouldn't like go in there it looks rougher than sandpaper stuck to a badgers harris'!

Once was with the legendary (and now dead, sadly) estate agent, Martin Lowe. Twice was when I said I was with him, and wasn't. Once was with a woman who worked for the Wigan Reporter, who evidently got in every week.
The other time was when I was with JTB, who then plied me with Blue WKDS and, in the process, got me to agree to sponsor - and pay for the kit for - Wigan Web Warriors. So, bassicaly, that night cost me about a grand.

| It shut around the time that I moved to Wigan (or Wigan area anyway) so I never went. I'd never have got in anyway if I'd been with Grego, although me and Mrs JTB were going to give it a go once. Let's not forget its previous incarnation as Puffers in the 70s, where my mum would end up after a night on the town. |
