When you compare it to football prices then in my opinion 18 quid is a fair price. The facilities don't really impact on whether i go to games although i can understand families with young children have to take this into consideration.



I think the main reason the club has introduced pre purchase tickets is to try and encourage the Wakefield fans to get away from just deciding on the day and they're hoping to increase season ticket holders and encourage people to buy before the day of the game.

Doesn't add up to be honest mate. Hudds radical pricing brought in an extra 80 fans per game.

Still thought £18.50 on the day was a bit steep.

TBH I've made the point before that Wigan's tickets are very cheap, so I don;t necessarily think a lot of you live in the real world regarding ticket prices.



At Wire we charge £17 to stand, however that has been held for three years now, and is pretty reasonable in SL, with most charging at least a pound more.



The cheapest seats are £19 and go up to £24.



Those prices are pretty standard tbh, so £18.50 to sit at Hudds is pretty good IMO.

£20 is a joke though, I agree! Especialy if it's raining. £18 to get the ticket before the game, save £2. But lot of money. Will be another put off coming to Wakey again next season.

can't see this happening mate . wakeys prices like wigans are usually pretty good. i know our ground is crap but we are doing something about it as i hope someone does something about this stupidity.

Not seen any announced as yet. Think it was £12 when we played at Swinton in the Choo Choo Cup so at least a couple of quid cheaper. Only snag being we have to play at grounds like Sedgley Park which, although welcoming and with an excellent bar, makes Belle Vue sound like the Maracana.

No idea how much it was to get in though as my mate and I made the fatal error of standing with both Wakefield fans and suggesting that we buy the round whenever Wakefield score, and they buy it whenever Leigh score. We went on to lose 54-0.

I know their support isn't the greatest but Christ

belle vue is a rugby ground where rugby is played. jd stadium is a football ground where football is played and the poor relations are allowed to play if the football team lets them. if not its off to widnes again for the home games

The price to watch SL is too dear at most grounds, its over priced and fans will not pay it so attendances will be even lower next year can you imagine what they will charge if they ever move, someone will foot the bill for a shiney new stadia us the supporter.
