The Trafford is the best place Pre-Game. The Bishop Blaize is great for United games but not the same for a rugby match. More expensive and people only go to have a sing-song.



The Trafford has a good outside area and massive inside with a few bars aswell as extra tables selling beer when overcrowded. If Wigan take over that, It will be absolutely incredible.



With regards to drinking in town, Oyster Bar is definately a good place to start. Cheap beer (Not Alpine Lager - That just does nothing for me) and good outside area. Nice place for a sing-song. Then walk up Market Street to Mosely Street metro station ( That way you get the Altrincham bound Metros from Picadilly aswell as Bury and its a shorter wait)



Jump off at Old Trafford early doors and ill see you all in the Trafford. Il be holding my Dad up, its his 50th on Saturday.

Oyster bar....pint of Taddys Lager £1.81, what a place! Dodgy staircase up to the Gents when you've had a few though.



Not sure what I'm doing yet but I think we should mob out The Trafford Pub on the corner of Chester Road for a big pre-match sing-song. Saints can have the Bishops!

Taddy Lager is the only lager I will drink over bitter. Brilliant stuff available in the Oyster Bar.

Just what I thought. I once had a very interesting chat with the late John Peel in Corbieres. I'm sure ale was more than 1.05 a pint when I lived in Manc and frequented the place and that was fifteen years ago!

There's also The Wellington and The Mitre next door, 3 pubs heavin' with Wiganers

Get to Manchester around 11 and find somewhere for lunch. Find a TV showing Latics and park my ass infront of it with beer.
