I agree. We always get a run of home games due to not being able to use our home ground for a spell. No different really other than that we aren't based in Canada.



Playing games in blocks is a compromise between them having to travel back and forth across the Atlantic every week which would be too harsh on them and playing all away and then all home as was tried one year which is harsh on other teams who all would face a rested team when having to travel themselves.



Playing games in blocks for a team with the travel, climate and distance issues such as Toronto have is by far the fairest system that could be used. I have never understood why so many people are so vehemently opposed to it. Other than them just not wanting TWP in the league of course.

It's simple for me - It's bloody ridiculous to have a team from not just another country (France, which is restrictive enough), but another continent, thousands of miles away. The vast majority of fans can't travel there, nor can (most of) their fans travel here. Sport is for the fans. What next? Aussie club(s)? SL becoming a feeder for pre-NRL teams to prove something? Maybe allow some South-Sea Island teams, as they don't have a strong enough local league?

Seem their backer has either run out or isn't prepared to bankroll the club anymore.
