Wigan have announced that anyone who has bought tickets in the blocks outlined below should note that tickets 1 and 2 etc are not sat together. In these blocks, the seating goes up in multiples of 2, with the seats going 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 etc and then restarting further along the row with 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 etc. So if you bought 4 tickets together (say seats 1, 2, 3 and 4) they would not be together - in this example, you would need seats 1, 3, 5 and 7 or seats 2, 4, 6 and 8 to be sat together.



The blocks affected are: 044, 045, 046, 047, 048, 144, 145, 146, 147 and 148.



I have just phoned the club's ticket office and they will exchange tickets for the correctly numbered ones. The seating pattern that many of you will have seen on the computer screen when purchasing tickets in person was set-up by Wigan who hadn't been informed of the irregular seating plan as outlined above and so, quite naturally, assumed that the numbers of each seat in a row increased by 1.

Without trying to soumd argumentative I'm not sure anyone receiving tickets would assume the seats were numbered anything other than 1,2,3,4,5,6 etc.



I mean, we bought, not for one second did we think "oh, I wonder if 1,3,5,7,9 are together and 2,4,6,8 are somewhere else.

Did anyone else think that?

If not then I'm not sure why or who at the club would have thought any different if they weren't told by Catalan/Barcelona.

The club may have got some things wrong, but looking to blame them for everything isn't the way forward.

I bought ours (4) using the internet on my phone as I am on holiday in the Carribean. When I got the email from the club about the mix up I emailed them asking what they had sent me and did I need to do anything further. I got an answer that bore relevance to the question I asked. Will have to wait till I get home to find out what's going on as I am wasting my time talking to the ticket office .

I wasnt blaming them for everything, I was blaming them for giving us wrong tickets. We couldnt have the 6 sat differently due to kids going and didnt want them sitting with strangers and needs of the kids. So we went from getting nice early good seats behind the sticks with all the other Wigan fans to now being in a corner and not. The early benefit of a season ticket holder was nullified.



We bought them from Wigan instead of Barcelona as the club get a percentage they say, if Idve got them from Barcelona and it would have happened I would have blamed them but I didnt.

I cant believe that when IL went there promoting the game he didn’t go into the stands and check this?? What sort of a chairman is he?? I bet he has struggling to sleep since causing this major incident.

You would have expected the club to have had a seating plan at the very least
