He will play Sunday

He’s got to use himself in the right way also and that means applying himself and playing at full tilt every game even when a new contract isn’t in his sights. I’ll be interested to see how he’ll go under Lam and if he can get a bit more effort out of him.



He can be a very good player when he wants to be.

He certainly blows hot and cold. That said, we signed him as a devastating Second Rower then promptly moved him to Prop.



Perhaps he can play Second Row for 4 months now that Farrell is out and Lam is more of a traditional rugby man?

Tautai played the vast majority of his rugby at Wakey at prop but maybe running a little wider then he has here. He doesn’t look fit enough to play in the second row for me. The biggest frustration for me is that he can be a good player on his day but we’ve only really seen that in a spell of a few months when he was in negotiations for a new deal.
