Cant see this being true at all, as someone said they are still selling tickets for the game and the 500 freebie good will gesture tickets have been sent to Widnes as well.
My BBC feed told me when I got up Friday morning Australian time that it was off. I didn’t check because I’d recorded the Wignes V Leigan game and didn’t want to spoil the result. When I checked out the BBC site after watching the game there was no story. Checked out the official Wigan site and no story. So not sure if it is true or not.
