I saw my team beaten by an in-form Warrington. The result would have been more emphatic but for the injury to Sandow and our lads positive response in the second half. I'm very proud of our lads effort but we were second best on the night.

It wasn't 100, so you can take a moral victory out of that too.

I am a little disappointed that Mr Pacific has not started a thread about today's game at Wakefield. I think it is highly likely Wigan will make the GF again his year and good chance to win it. However, after today's debacle of wane playing Wigan b and hoping to sneak a win and getting his backside handed to him, I wonder if wane or perhaps more pertinently Lenaghan would have the decency to apologise to the loyal Wigan fans who paid their hard earned to travel and watch today's game. Lenaghan often speaks well about expanding the game and getting more coverage etc, etc. however I don't see how this fits with letting the most high profile club in the game treat a league game as one to sacrifice to save players for later in the season. Appreciate injuries but Wigan have biggest and best squad in comp. Wonder if rfl will dare charge him with bringing game into disrepute?
