How much potential has Matty Russell got in your opinion? I've heard good things about him.

Simple answer, a lot.

He can beat a man off both feet and has superb acceleration. He's very much in the Sam Tomkins mode as far as potential is concerned. Whether he has Sams competitive spirit/dedication I honestly don't know because that is usually another attribute which determines just how far a player can go in the game.

That's a big rap for Russell then, is he from the same dynamic prop mold as Mossop in terms of good strength and an a lot of agility?

I have faith in Shaun playing youngsters when they deserve their place with him being a former youth coach, so if Mathew could well be in line for some first time games next season.
