Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. If you are having problems logging in, please try a different browser or platform, if problems persist then email support@rlfans.com

Quote ="Conman"There's ample parking on the stadium car park, also across from the cinema (next to the Red Robin pub) I think they both charge a fiver. Failing that you could try and park on the estates surrounding the ground. />
Hope this helps.'" />
Cheers for that.

It will be a sad day when the North stand is closed at home against Leeds.

Quote ="Odemwingie"Great crowd for the big one 3.... over 18k home fans, just as good as the previous games really, who cares about away fans? We are the only team who can get these crowds with just home fans. Our crowd was bigger than the Leeds v Bradford game. />
Wonder what it will be for the Leeds game, normally one of the best attended games and its following two top results against our rivals and 2nd placed Hudds both infront of an army of Wigan fans and on sky. Would be great to beat last years total of 17,883. Over 18k should be the target.'" />
Looking at the e-ticketing its looking a pretty healthy crowd for the Weeds game..
Ill go for 17,500 with the lone 500 from the once great Weeds club...BBooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

I think people are missing the point with the home v away attendances for "Big Ones". Increasing away support helps a bit, of course, but it's the increase in home support that is crucial, not just for that one game, but hopefully for future games. The away supporters are only here once a year (in League games), but if just a percentage of the "extra" home support turns up more often, that will have a massive effect.
/>
Sure, Hudds support increased by 700 or so, but home support was up by around 5,000 on last year, and hopefully a good proportion of them will be encouraged to come more often, and maybe even buy a season ticket, or bring more friends along. That has to be the main aim of the "Big One" concept.

That's exactly what Lenagan said at the fans forum. Great if the away support increases but first and foremost it's a marketing tactic to increase home support firstly for that game and secondly hopefully to get an increase in regular attendance. Well part one accomplished by something like 5k, part two will become apparent in the future.
Well done to the marketing team
