Sorry for delay in getting back- had my nephew on phone last night from Christchurch- i had to sit down and listen- his village is 3k from the epicentre- good news is all family ok

Home advantage - real home advantage is a big plus- but ive spoken to plenty of people this week within the game - all very complimentary about St George and all said along the same lines- dont expect a points fest or even too much of an open game
People who've played against them in NRL use the same phrase- theyre defensively orientated and contain sides really well in yardage terms. One even said they wont mind soft ground.
I cant believe they wouldnt have benefitted from a run out over here - but they chose not to and they must be confident in themselves-
Wigan can win this and after the last couple of years i think we could do with winning it - but be prepared for a hard slog- the warriors probably wont meet opposition set up like this again all year
