Well if he has experience with working with the likes of Inglis, Falou etc and the likes of youngsters Melbourne seem to have then he is surely a good recruit to have incharge of looking for talent within a pool like Wigans area
This appointment is yet another example of how Wigan are leading the way to the rest of Super League with their backroom set up. In truth we are just becoming much more professional, more like a NRL club, and that is what all SL clubs need to do for playing standards to improve. Our improvement last season and the results on the pitch certainly speak for themselves.
However this is overshadowed by the new kit which is absolute rubbish. We certainly lag way behind the rest of the league in terms of kit design and this needs to be sorted asap. A top kit designer needs to be brought in from the NRL for kit design standards to improve imo. Heads must roll for this.
