Here's a totally independent view. Mason is a poor imitation of a decent prop forward. What he did tonight was cowardly and could have caused Fielden a serious injury. What it actually did was wind Fielden up and he had his best game for a long time.
Mason deserves a visit to Red Hall on Tuesday afternoon and a 3-4 game ban.
fielden was my man of the match tonight the way the game was going there was no way they could risk Davies and Feka was pretty poor for me so we essentially played with two and a bit props. The mistake was not his fault he shouldn't have been left in that position. Suprised how many hudds fans couldn't be bothered to go support their team.
