I agree that it's a big call, but so far we've played Leeds, Saints, Hull FC and Wire once each - All the fancied teams bar Huddersfield.



We have beaten every one of (what should be) our realistic rivals for the top spot.



Why shouldn't we start to feel confident?



Likewise, Wire should be growing in confidence with 1/3 of the season gone and being 2 points clear in 2nd, with a superior goal-difference to everyone below them.



Let's see how you get on tomorrow first, but if we both come through this unscathed, it sets up a VERY interesting second 1/3 of the season

You should be confident but its only 9 rounds old so you shouldn't be disappointed if you can't stay at the top its a long hard season.



I can't see us winning our next two games if someone offered 2 from poss 4 now I would take it, if we do win them and Briers adds to the team without taking anything away in defence then I might start to think we could challenge for the top 2.

Why does there have to be a dip?



We have a good squad with depth:



FB - Phelps, Roberts, Richards

W - Phelps, Roberts, Richards, Goulding, Ainscough

C - Gleeson, Carmont, Bailey, Goulding

SO - Tomkins, Gleeson, Phelps, O'Loughlin

SH - Leuluai, Deacon, Tomkins

P - Fielden, Coley, Feka, Prescott, O'Carroll, Mossop

H - Riddell, McIlorum, Leuluai

SR/LF - Tomkins, Hansen, Bailey, Mossop, O'Loughlin, Tuson



Thats just people used so far, without drawing on Farrell, Davies, Charnley, Vievers etc.

Yep. He has very good ball handling skills and he can put a kick in too. We use the full back as an extra half back at times - our play is much more dangerous and structured when he's in the side.



That's not to knock Roberts, who's obviously torn a few teams apart on his own from full back, but I much prefer him on the win.

Hopefully won't come all season!



I don't mind losing just as long as Warrington don't go above us
