Something like that, but 100 times worse - my personal theory is its all the DW stadium stewards deliberately parking up badly to make people use the pay car parks.

hey, i never do the walk, i pay to watch the full 80 minutes and clap the players at the end but if i do enter the car park looking for a space then have to get out to go on the paid car park then it's full and i have trouble.

Agreed, some of the parking on there is utterly insane. Got into a row last game with a woman who had literally blocked an entire row in by just ditching her car. Her response "it was the first gap I saw"

we park at wigan pier, bit further to walk about 10/15 mins depending of pace but always free spaces, easy to get out and most importantly free.

I've parked here a couple of times but how come at one time all the car parks were free and then all of a sudden all but one cost £4. Wouldn't mind if it was a pound or two but £4 for an hour and a half is a bit excessive. Found a new spec now outside the Stadium's ground that I've know about for years but never had the common sense to park there.

I didn't know there was a B&Q in Wigan.
