I agree with calling it after king billy. Nice one Whelan. Its funny how the latics fans are reacting. They used to get 2000 - 4000 fans a week before getting ito premiership and now all the travelling support puts em up to about 15000. They only get full when the bigger prem teams cone to town! Wigan RL have brought more income to Whelan over the years and its about time Latics caught up.



Would have been funny to name the North Stand after Dean Bell though. Would laugh every time Eddy & stevo said wigan are playing towards the bell end! Childish I know but funny!
