I find this disparity really hard to understand from the IT point of view. I complained about the webcast for the Leigh game, and was told on FB (and maybe here too?) that I should re-boot my router, it's down to my internet connection, etc.
I had the same issues with this Swinton game, and I would respond as follows:
1 I have a very decent broadband connection. In fact I earn my living with it, via a VPN.
2. I regularly watch web-casts, cast TV programmes from lap-top to TV, etc, with no difficulty whatsoever.
3. Other Wigan TV stuff, ie, archive stuff, seems more or less OK ,it's just the live webcasts.
I just find it very hard to accept that Wigan TV webcasts require so much more oomph (to use the technical term!

) than literally
anything else I do?
Why should Wigan TV require a router re-boot, when literally nothing else does?
