The mechanism might be attendance based - that would be even worse for LB. Your best chance would be fighting not to finish 13th or 14th - a bit like Cas Tigers in some respect.

Talking of who or who wont be here next season. I was reading on sky's rugby league web page an interview with Chris Melling about him playing against his former club. but what stuck out in the middle of the interview for me, and I may have this wrong as I'm not the greatest at English (unlike some here). but does this comment sound as if he's speaking in the past tense: "I've really enjoyed my time down here and it's been a fantastic part of my life.".

so could that look like he might be another one on the move too, or just him expressing how he has felt since moving here from Wigan..

I've got to agree, when you hear the various interviews like Melling's and Clubb's and the lack of any announcements regarding next year - put that together with the other rumours of players leaving like Dorn and Wheeldon and the uncertainty of where you will be playing next year, it doesn't give you much hope for the future in SL beyong 2013. What is going on ?

nobody else notice mr hughes reference to "where we are now" as an option for next years ground ? Let's hope common sense prevails and we stay at the stoop for one more year and let whatever entity exists in 2015 decide for itself where to play! !!

He won't ever walk of his own accord....... His CV looks terrible already and the "work" he's done at londons only pro RL club hasn't made it look any better. Hughes commenting on injuries points to him believing in excuses rather than results.....he needs to go if the club is to have a chance of survival!

He left one when the going was good and he got canned as a result of cutbacks forced because he reduced crowds at the other.....he's chopped close to 40% of our fans and 500k a year in revenue at the Broncos and presided over potentially 3 of the 4th worst seasons the club has experienced in SL.



If he was to look for another job in sports administration, I can't see it being in the UK.

So a lot of the players were told at the beginning of the season this was their last season with Broncos how lucky are they to get so much notice. I have been made redundant three times and one of those times was a days notice when the company went into liquidation. The players took their wages and should have played their hearts out to get other teams to notice them and get new contracts elsewhere. Most of them have been carried for a number of seasons and put in very little effort. If they had taken a leaf out of the book which players like Mark Bryant, Jamie Soward, Ben Fisher, Chris Melling, Keiron Dixon, Chris Bailey and one or two others read then shown the same commitment and passion they would have new contracts in their pockets for next season, Not everyone can be a gifted player but a team needs the work horses like Melling etc. to form a good basis for the gifted players to bounce off. Being told the news their contracts would not be renewed is no excuse for laziness. The decision to get rid of most of them was proven to be right by their lack of commitment and willingness to play to their capabilities.

Hope they're getting rid of Kaufusi, waste of money and space.

After todays game i hope for Sargy's sake he has signed the contract already as im not sure he is up to CC1 standard at the moment and Wayne will be pulling his hair out over paying him a wage.
