Barthau did a fine kicking job in the Yowies game. Perhaps Wes has a problem as he wasn't getting the distance yesterday & Leatherbarrow was the kicker at last weeks Town game. Time will tell I guess.

Is Leatherbarrow's place secure ? Have to say he has played way beyond my expectations but cant see much beyond Barthau and Eliab, or possibly Brierley

Wes was spot on most of last year, so his quality as a kicker is not really the question, his form so far this year is the problem. it is a bit odd at home you would have thought the surface being as consistant as it is you cannot put the blame on that.

he does look to be carrying the odd knock though which could be affecting him.

If only we had put over one, just one of the missed conversions yesterday. We would be top of the league. Still must not grumble. Quite happy with where we are.

To be honest that could have killed off the game for us, think the scrambling defence put the pressure on but defiantly a waisted opportunity.
