It doesn't matter who signs good or bad the club will still go backwards. It has the ability to stunt the growth of everything and everybody. They have already said they are going backwards with the facilities and this will have a knock on effect of fans thinking enough is enough. Oh how the heart bleeds for this once developing, growing club. And before you say fans should support no matter what after 20 odd years you run into a brick wall where your heart says yes but brain and finances say no.

Option A: Current NRL player who isn't coming to "test" himself, but will eat up a chunk of our cap in the forlorn hope that he will get us to SL and attract fans (Scott Hill anyone?)

Option B: Fading light/Not good enough for the NRL who is here for the money and to see Europe at the end of his career, as it's easier money than the NSW/QLD cup and not as hard.(Ben Farrar anyone?)

Option C: Bad Boy from the NRL looking to redeem himself. (Sandow anyone?)



I'd take C, but you can keep A&B we've done that to death in recent years and it's grunt, hard yards up the middle and 100% to the club regardless of the cash that will get us to the middle 8's next year

Hopefully we will get lucky this time and get an NRL standard player overlooked because of his injury record.

I think he will bring a bit of quality to the squad. If he is over his injuries he could be good for us.



Unfortunately we have been here before with some of these Aussies.



I would hope that the club have done their homework and are satisfied that he is medically sound.



Then, this is the Broncos.

Open minded till I see how he plays and contributes. Seen enough who have failed to impress and also those who have made a name for themselves.

I agree. The overall impact on a team of a good winger versus an average winger is nice but not essential. We've got Kear and Williams, with Walker coming through. Upgrading a half or a prop would have a much greater end result.

Have patience, there's at least 4 more "signings" to be announced.

As I understand it. Michael Channing is the player who is about to return. He is out of contract at Castleford and looking to return South.



We are being linked with Matt Groat from Doncaster. Not too impressed with his performance yesterday. He did not put himself about as I would have expected and if we have signed him, I would be disappointed.
