I suspect the chances of promotion will be reduced even further in the future with a smaller income. Didn't London and Bradford get fairly sizable parachute payments or similar?
Don't forget SL will have a Marquee player on top of the current SC next year making it even harder. After round 10 this year Wakey stated they were preparing for the middle 8's and now look good for survival.
it is what it is, you need a Marwan (well someone with his kinda dosh anyways) if your serious, but it's still early doors,the SL sides have hit round two all guns blazing, it may not last.
If the games went as per the main season fixtures, number of odd results in there and some teams have improved dramatically. But as a starter for ten, the top four of the Shield would be:
Rams. 38
Rovers. 34
Broncos. 34
Town. 24
Potentially Rams v Town and Rovers v Broncos. Unless we buck (every pun intended) our ideas up a Rams v Rovers final?
