I remember Tony playing for us in 96 when still a junior. A truly committed and talented player in both his spells for us.

Yes, he was just 17 when he went straight into the main team. He always wore an orange skull cap. He was a lovely person and a great player. Best of luck on his retirement - and for the rest of his life. A great servant to the club when he played for us.

When my son and daughter were young kids Tony Martin chatted to them both after a match at Griffin Park my son, Bill made us go to the next match the following week, he shouted out "Good Luck Tony". as the Broncos ran out, Tony Martin stopped, turned round and said "Thanks Bill"



What a nice guy! you should of seen his face.



My son is 21 now and is still an RL fan although has been infected by the dull, round ball game.

Spoke to him after the away Crusaders match last season - was looking for a club so I guess Broncos didn't want him - or not at his agents price. Good player.

There was an article on BnA tonight about Tony- he has played for London, Crusaders, Auckland, Melbourne and not surprisingly is in favour of expansion clubs!
