Utter rubbish, i was bang in line on the 20 metre for the Eden pass, Brown was level then checked himself to stay behind, never in a million years was that forward.

Wish folk would actually learn the definition of a forward pass. -the laws of physics dictate that te ball WILL travel forward from the point it was passed and the faster the player is travelling the further the ball goes forward. Using the lines in the pitch will not determine a forward pass!!!!!!! B

This is correct on both points. I was sitting in roughly the same place...first try was a quaterback's pass...no try. The Kev Brown one afterwards though was a perfectly legitimate score.

Oh and yes the "ref" was going to award the Robbo try but was bullied out of it by the Salford players. One of the most remarkable incidents I've ever seen on a rugby pitch...Hicks virtually had the whistle pulled out of his mouth...astonishing.

Be interesting to see the 1st Salford try, that looked a bounced ball and the in goal stood his ground indicating no try, yet the robbo one, the in goal went back to the back line indicating its a try, both were given the opposite by Hicks.

i thought the lawrence try looked forward, i thought salford's first try looked dodgy but didn't thinkthe pass from eden to brown was not even debatable, but all in all i thought hicks was poor and seemed to forget about offside for most of it.

however, another win despite not playing well again, we are doing enough to keep winning and thats good enough for me at this stage of the season.

I'm well aware of both the forward pass rule and the laws of physics thank you very much. The Eden pass to Brown was forward.

I'd have to disagree with you LI, purely based on the fact that Brown definately checked his run to stay behind Eden



That and the fact it was clearly backwards
