No effort, missed tackles, no discipline and making a 0-5 side look like world beaters.

Well it's time Paul Anderson sorted this out because in at least two games our tactics have been totally wrong and add in the lack of effort poor passing et all and this we just have to turn up to win attitude it's all adding up to the season going pear shaped.

They are all over us a big side like ours and we have no answer to their power and aggression as we didn't with Hull KR and Widnes.

No shape passes straight on to the floor looks like we've never played together.

Two more more shocking passes but now two tries now the game has gone makes it even worse !!!

We have started the season in 1st gear. Hopefully as the season progresses we will move up the gears to peak at the right time. Fingers crossed!

I am very frustrated as well. Poor discipline, poor tackling technique, poor attacking options. What I will not agree with is your comment about no effort.

don't think there was a lack of effort, we were poor and beaten by a better team on the night who got into our faces, wound us up and played on the front foot for most of it.
they also got the benefit of some dubious decisions.

Let's not get carried away the season doesn't start till September all these league games are warm ups for the playoffs!!!!!

Brough has not been at his best all season. If Anderson cannot get him concentrating on the game and not arguing with the ref then maybe he does need a spell on the side line.
Our big forwards Crabtree,Kopczak,Kaufusi and Taii are performing well below the required level and as a result we are getting bullied by opposition packs.
Without Lunt we should play Robinson at hooker as the play the ball otherwise is too slow.
Robinson is much better running from the play the ball as his distribution as a half back is not great (today it was woeful)

Robinsons distribution was fine last season though so I don't get your point here. I'd play him at hooker only in the case of Lunt being injured (which he is now) and revert him straight back into the half backs once Lunts fit again. You can't drop Brough too, he's our main threat going forward and is a brilliant leader on the pitch. His spat with Silverwood must be deep rooted as they both seem to have a bee in the bonnet about each other for some reason.
