I agree he's entitled to an opinion (like everyone else) and have said so more than once on here. My objection to him is the total fabrications and lies he uses at times when he posts. Not it's not - it's because they have ambition and the clubs they have gone/going to are in a better position to do fulfill that. If we got 10k fans per games we still would not be in the position of Wigan and Wire (or anywhere near it) for a long time to come.

Nail on head, as well as Featherstone do or have done in our league for example Zak Hardaker will not turn down Leeds to give him a chance to progress to the international stage and the very top.

Same in all sports players aspire to reach the very top and Wigan and Warrington are the top weather we like it or not, we can be rivals without being enemies surely.



Our challenge (not the BOM everyone pulling together) is to build our club over the next ten years to be an elite level club in our own right.



Its not a short term quick fix project we have started, and while we acknowledge the importance of the next couple of seasons on the pitch (and were giving Paul the resources to compete for the top) off the pitch we are putting in place long term planning and building a sustainable model which can be grown and built on year in year out.

Unfortunately there is a vast difference in competitiveness from SL to championship & if you remember Ellis' season with us in 2011 the lad tore teams to shreds. The lad played with so much commitment & desire that when Sheffield knocked us out the playoffs the lad was in tears after the game. There's not a single Leyther who wouldn't love to have Jamie back.

) that last line could be a reassurance that the BOM are aiming for steady growth not quick fixes ala boom n bust which has been discussed at great length on this and many other RL team forums. Personally i think Steve (starbug) has a wealth of experience in dealing with RL sport as a whole from governing bodies to fans and their expectations and as far as i can tell Steve says it how HE sees it rather than coating things in cotton wool or tip toeing round an issuei for one hope he is able to offer the BOM any input that would be beneficial.

Your 100% correct I was simply assuring people we wont go for broke and put the clubs future at risk, it wasn't a pop at anyone.



Regards Steve I've met with him and discussed his ideas and am hoping to work with him moving forward and pick his brains and utilise his experience as he's been kind enough to offer advice and give me his time whenever I've asked so I would publically thank him for that.
