I'm told Widnes hasn't even got a Bus station so i'll struggle to get there as I've heard not having a 'station' is a big problem when travelling by public transport to watch RL.

In serious though, bus from Leigh to Wire, hope in train from central, 15min walk and jobs a good 'un

So seriously though............You could do the very same thing when England v Wales is on at the LSV , rather than spouting Leyth has NO rail link and was inaccessible to the Millions of RL fans who travel by Rail to every game?.....

Short distance is easy, what about those poor Leeds & Hull fans facing a pilgrimage to the LSV? Buses aren't ideal at all really but when needs must... espcially if your used to them

That`s irrelevant, if you can travel to the LSV by public transport from Smogsville and YOU deem it to be easy, then why would it be difficult to the Yarkshire folk to get off a Train at Atherton and walk 50 yd to a bus stop which goes into Leyth Town Centre every 7 mins............

Not on a Sunday though and the bus drivers seem to arrive when they feel like it and it appears they ignore the timetables.

And it's only 10mins at most on the bus from Atherton Bart, i honestly don't know why people put so much importance on the station thing, i bet some town's or city's with a station are further than that from their grounds.

Its not rocket science is it, your average follower of a sL club has no interest in following the national team but rather than tell the truth when asked, they'd sooner come out with a load of excuses.

Hull KR is apparently the same distance from the nearest rail station as the LSV (3.4 miles)
