Look on the bright side-the increase in teams to 14 will mean that if we get the mandatory 12 point deduction as per Bradford at least we might be able to get above Rochdale/Swinton next season!!

Ah but, wasn't the 12 point deduction in the days of 3 points for a win? Mind you, even an 8 point deduction would need as much catching up, at 2 for a win.
(In joke - no offence intended to anyone by the use of numbers 2,3,8 or 12!  ) |

It was only last season and Bradford only managed 6 wins and finished on zero points, with the two clubs them being Swinton and Oldham on 12 and 11 points in a 23 game season. Therefore I would estimate needing a net 14 points to stay up- this would require winning 13 out of the 27 games to be played. |
