Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. I thought we were going to get tatered but the boys dug in and did the shirt proud. The decision to send two players off with minute to go - in a not so niggly - game ws daft. I hope that isn't a sign for the season. I was stood with Rochdales Vice Chairman ( nice fella ) and his group on one side and on the other the biggest bunch of fools I have had the displeasure to be near. Right from the start they were shouting "smack him", " get him battered" and when it started getting tastey were complaining that "there are no freindlies when you come to Leigh". Contantly moaning.
Anyway as I said there were lods of positives from last night. Well done lads. Can't wait for Sunday now.
Was that the group on the half way line? I was stood behind them and they moaned about Bate every time he was involved in play. I heard the 'get him battered' comment as well and being the quiet retiring type that I am couldn't keep my mouth shut
Yes that was them. They shut up goading there lads into smacking Anthony when I told them he would probably wipe the floor with most of their lads. Don't know if he could but at least they shut up for a bit. The one with the specs and the flat cap was a first class idiot.
