That sounds ridiculous - spectators justifiably aren't allowed cans, although to be honest I can't think of many instances where the opposition coach doesn't have a water bottle rather than a can.

The RFL Match commissioner as no influence over any individual stadia Ground Regulations.. you should have paid more attention during your NVQ training.

No, but the match commissioner can stop a match, if anyone other than the official time keeper has one, yet alone uses one. So no not

at all, know all.

Official time keepers are the only ones permited to use one in the Stadium.

It was funny with the lad that had the bull horn at Chorley a few years ago. He had an argument with the man on the tannoy who spit his dummy out saying he was the only one who could make announcements. Didn't agree with everything the lad with the bull horn was saying or the language he was using but the chat with the announcer made me smile.

Blame doesnt lie with the stewards, so why are they getting upset, its those who tell them what to do thats to blame.

Coz the stewards get the back lash from the fans as they are first contact the bosses hide away...

The bloke with the bull horn was saying allsorts of things. Some not so nice things about Kevin Ashcroft aswell as stuff about the game and the announcer was loosing his wrag teeling him to shut up and it was him who made the announcements. After a while he was officially told to put it away or leave. But it was amusing it all going on over the tannoy system.
