Quite. We had half our salary cap expenditure for 2015 missing on Saturday vs Hull FC, plus Niall Evalds and Mason Caton-Brown were then forced off through injury so we’re facing a bit of crisis at the moment.



Saying that though, we played better without Kevin Locke, Michael Dobson, Gareth Hock, Cory Paterson and Ben Jones-Bishop.

Is it still too early to predict bottom 4 of SL??



Top 4 of Champ' is easier, granted:



Leigh

Bradford

Sheffield

Fev



Although 'Fax could pinch Fev's place...



Can't see any other teams getting in top 4 realistically

I think it's a little early to predict any at the minute..Teams will get stronger as the season continues..And theres a long way to go yet.

Leigh and Bradford are nailed on to get in the top 4, unless there's a mass of injuries suspensions etc. And I mean mass.



For argument's sake, let's say Fev, Sheffield and Halifax will have some competiton then.



From who though? London? Quite possibly.



But I really can't see anyone else muscling in.

But you didn't select The Broncos in your quartet..! You can't base everything on results so early in a season.

Sheffield haven't played any of the bigger teams yet have they? SL is quite tight too only a couple of wins between top 4 and bottom 4

I didn't select London initially, I put them in for argument's sake.



And I have based my selections on what I have seen so far. Performances, NOT results.

Salford seem to be finally playing well,so you can stick Hull in there instead on current form and Fev WELL something is not right there, but I think they,ll make the eight still

In SL anyone can beat anyone on any given day. It's fantastic for the sport and as a competition. So predicting the bottom 4 will be difficult so early, I agree.

Hull are the surprise shocking team at present - absolutely nothing in attack



Wakefield seem to be in real trouble



Widnes seem a different team on the what should be an illegal pitch imo and Browns fitness seems key to their finishing spot



Will Wire continue to fall? Will Salford continue to build? Will HKR burst? Have Hudds run their course as a SL challenger?



Should be a right dogfight to avoid the bottom 4 that could go to the last games of the regular season

Mo you sound like the guy at the end of the owd Batman programmes,will batman survive ?Will Robin save him?will the Dynamic Duo outwit the Joker? As Johnny Nash used to say ,there are more questions than answers.

Absolutely fascinating to watch developments. And, but for the prospect of P&R having been re-introduced, nobody would have cared.

Brown is top quality and we are a different team when he plays well. Wakefield are really poor this year and injuries will be the key.

reckon wakefield need to replace their grass pitch with a plastic one, that will help.

Our reserves will have to learn how to play on one as there is one going down at The Pavilion to replace the main grass pitch there.

Still be rubbish.

Makes sense, the grass pitch only gets used by Easts and requires a lot of maintenance. 3G pitch means more kids get the opportunity to play sports as well as the Easts.

So they have never played on a plasitc pitch before?

Hull no surprise to me they were awful last year and then went and signed 2 individual half backs who couldn't steer a pram around the pitch. Certainties to finish bottom 2 and I think bottom IMO.

Impossible to predict bottom 4 of SL. Even Wakey are only 4 points from safety.



Leigh are currently smashing up the Champ and will get even better.



Will Bradford get any better this season? That's the question. Because they're not taking teams apart easily at present.
