If Dan's a hooker then he has 4 other currently at Cronulla with Segeyaro being first choice, if hes a half then he has to get Chad Townsend, James Maloney and Jack Bird all established players with others already listed too. Gerard Beale has left but hes a wing/centre so maybe there are other departures not yet released, also Cooper Cronk is moving to a Sydney Based Club not yet stated?



Mitch Rein would be a good replacement is there is any truth in the rumour, I wish him good luck, Dan on whatever decision you make.

What is happening with you seems to be the same as happened with us after relegation getting rid of all the deadwood and resigning the players you'd expect to lose you end up with a better side in the end against all odds

To me this is the biggest sign yet that something is very right within our club at the moment. When a player of Mortimer’s class and ability re-sign, a player who is already on the “inside”, then it is a sure sign of things being good at the heart of our club. Thanks Dan for showing your commitment. Very classy player, very classy statement.

Think it's worth thanking everyone involved with all of the signings to date. From Derek to the input that Keiron Cunningham must be having. I really hope that Jukesy can prove a lot of us wrong, including myself and work with this class squad that is being provided. Well done everyone

I was thinking exactly the same thing while driving to work, after reading about Dan Mortimer. After the MPG I was buoyed that DB stayed committed but wondered if Cunnigham and Jukes were the right people. Well it seems that the new players signed and the current players re-committing seem to think so, and DB certainly thinks so. Well done to all of them
