Nothing to do with jealousy, for me it was your fans attitude especially after being all but saved by Gateshead,after this you would think you would be a bit more humble about things .But no, yet again splash the cash,comments like are Leigh still top etc,and then reveling in the other clubs perils.When haven had money issues and were rightly relegated ,yet again a lot of your fans took pleasure in it.We took our punishment unlike yourselves and fought our way back.I said at the time when the wheels fall off your band wagon agan because they would I'd back to remind you .At times it better to remember where you would have been had it not been for Gateshead ,so for me I'm laughing and will do so as more wheels fall off. |

What attitude? The year we were saved from relegation (after finishing above the relegation position) was 8 years ago! I also seem to remember most fans accepting it before Gateshead received their point deduction for going into administration and "saving us", not sure how any of that is "Leigh not taking their punishment". But hey, good news for you Toulouse V Gateshead is now back on the fixture list, I'm sure you'll be off to Newcastle instead of the LSV. Don't know any fan who's revelled in any other club's misfortune, the vast majority are RL fans, we all know how important our RL clubs are to each other. Are you suggesting if a rich business man from Haven wanted to put money into the club to try to get you to SL you'd say "No. Stay away we don't want success we deserve to be relegated to League 1!"? You can laugh if you want but that says nothing about Leigh and an awful lot about you as an RL "fan".
