Why was Thaler concerend with that. Should he not have been following play and leaving that upto his helpers? Just said on another thread that I think he is one of the worst refs in this game. Likes the sound of his whistle and is very inconsistant.

The main points re the ref were



1) Forward pass for one of the tries in the first half not given. Touch judge right in line with it. Looked forward even from the North Stand.

2) Crossing for another one in the 1st not given, (then gives crossing against Leigh in the same circumstances later in half)

3) Try disallowed right on half time. Could not see why from North stand

4) Try disallowed after the biff.



Not saying it would have made any difference to result, but I think the final score would have been closer had Leigh been close at HT.

Sorry I should have edited the quote but I agree with the rest. Thaler did'nt really have enough of an effect on the wining team.
