I spent a top weekend in Toulouse a while back, as said earlier in thread De Danu is the place to be, it's an Irish bar owned by Trever Brennan, he used to play for Toulouse in union. He's the one who went into the crowd and punched a fan, got a lifetime ban for his troubles. Anyway De Danu has multiple sky boxes so shows everything that is on. Also does a top Irish breakfast to beat the hangovers.

Deardo is right about Trevor Brennan owning that pub, though I haven't been into it



I popped into the Frog and Rosbif before the England V France RL game last summer, and it is the nearest thing to a pub other than De Danu. Remember that I spoke to an English bloke behind the bar who said they were off to the RL match, so there is some awareness of RL there. They defo had sky sports anyway. In fact come to think of it quite a few bars around the main square showed the England V France game



Other than that, Toulouse has loads of bars, clubs etc and is a wicked place to visit IMO especially in high summer. I can imagine all the Leythers singing on Place Du Capitole!



Can't make this game as am moving next week, but hope everyone makes it into town and has a laugh. Oh and er, hopefully Leigh can win!



P.S. The French RL cup final is at Albi the day after, if anyone is interested. It is between Carcasonne and Limoux I believe

Seriously, even if you are not that adventurous foodwise, I am sure you'll love the local food... and wine.

Enjoy Toulouse, it is a beautiful city with very welcoming habitants.

Just been weighing up the relative locations of Le Frog & Rosbif and Du Danu on the Toulouse Town Map. Le Frog & Rosbif is closer to the city Centre and also very close to the Jean Jaures Metro station which is the intersection of the two main Metro lines so this might be the best bet as it will be easy to get to and easy to then go on to the Stde de Minimes for the buses to the ground.
