Free kids half season ticket when buying an adult one!

Bold move by the club! Let's hope we can get a few more through the gate with such a fantastic offer! Wonder what people who bought a full kids season ticket at the start of the season will think though!

I wonder if they will discount next sesons tickets for those foolish enough to have bought a full price before the season started.

No not at all. It's a typical business principal really. Like buying a t shirt when it first arrives in River Island for £25 and then finding it in the sale six months later for £10 because they didn't sell many at full price.

Therefore, if we had sold 8000 season tickets you would be highly unlikely to see an offer like six pack at this time. As we are considerably under capacity in terms of season tickets sales, this offer makes sense.

These are testing times and the club needs to be bold. Knocking a few quid off would of provided little return.

Cash flow. It's all about the cash flow.

Earlybird full season ticket price = £171.00. Includes free entry to Challenge Cup game and cheap Millenium Magic ticket but let says 14 games works out at £12.21 per game.

Six pack is £90.00 for 6 games = £15.00 per game.

It was cheaper to buy your season ticket before the early bird deadline, so I'm not sure what your complaint is.

Plus add in the free Junior Ticket

If you bought on the Early Bird it was £231 for an adult and child standing ticket (£16.50 per home game plus the cup game)

You will now pay £90 for an adult and child (£15 per home game).

Considering a couple of premium home games have gone (Wigan and Leeds) and the discount for the Magic Weekend has gone, it doesn't look a bad deal to me.

If, like for me, the kids offer is irellevant, then the adult ticket on it's own works out more expensive than if I had bought it on the Early Bird scheme. Using an early bird ticket it would cost just over £12 a game instead of £15 with this ticket.

I'm pretty sure most people will be happy that the club are trying to market tickets and get fans in, rather than see any negatives in this.

i think what ever the club can do to increase it's revenue is a good thing, marketing is a tricky business, you can't please every one, and to be honest it's probably the regular attender who is going to utilise the offer.
the club should be trying to get some of the people who stopped attending after a poor start to the season to reattend.

Yep, I agree. The Season Ticket numbers have gone down this year, and this may be a way of getting them back onto the books...

They usually do a summer 6 pack, but can't remember them doing free kids season tickets

Went in the shop this morning and seen a woman buying four of these cut price season tickets, from what i could gather they come with all kinds of T&C but good idea none the less.
