Sky's P155 boiling over the obvious mess up over the Charnley incident, is only backed up by the equal distress its causing to the plastic scousers.
The fact that the "world class" Harry Newman's second try, came off the back of the biggest non penalty you'll ever see, was conveniently forgotten about, during the so called expert analysis, makes it all the sweeter.

That's future hall of famer, Harry Newman that you're talking about! I mean, he out paced Mike Cooper after 70 odd minutes of busting his arris down the middle while Newman himself stood on the edge of the field obviously admiring his coming contribution lol. |

If we want things to improve we need to stop CONSTANTLY having a pop at the standard. What I saw tonight was two good teams putting a right shift in after playing earlier in the week....I don't know how these fellas get up in the morning after a game. Yes there was more skill in the 80s 90s but by god I watched some.crap back then with Brendan Hill flopping to the floor every time the chunker got it. I watched that match with someone who had never seen the game before and she LOVED it. Also kendall wasn't great but bloody Nora it was better than the officiating I used to watch...anyone remember dessie's knock on at Leeds? |

Well said, although some of the posters moaning have been on here for 15+ years and never shown any evidence that they even enjoy rugby, so wouldn't expect an about-turn now. |

That was a great game to watch and both sets of players did well considering the turnaround.
As bad as a decision the Charnley ‘try’ and VR balls up did not cost us the game your guys just managed the game far better in the last 5-10 minutes.
Enjoy the win, as a Leeds fan im just glad we’re competing again with the top sides

Great point. Before I got that point of your message I thought "I bet a person just getting into the sport would have loved it".
The skill level wasn't exceptional but it was still entertaining, and that's all that matters. |

Thanks for your honest post, as that must have been a tough defeat to take. As Gale said post match that Leeds had enough opportunities to win the game and they were to blame not the referee (or words to that effect). You've some winnable games coming up, if you can win 3 out of the next 4, that might build some momentum to make the play offs. |

Rugby League remains the best sport to watch.
I really enjoyed the game. Of course, we can play much better but so could Leeds. Lots of mistakes and wrong decisions but loved it. Those who didn't enjoy it should watch a game of tip-tap or South Africa v Lions or a full game from Rugby League in the past. Perhaps rugby league isn't for them and they ought to find something else to do instead of moaning.
Who knows how the season will pan out. We could lose to half a dozen clubs in the league and beat everyone ... but that's sport.
