4 players from the academy are doing pre season with the first team, maybe a couple might stand out to cover first team injuries or reserves?

No idea what his position is really, does he have a preference?



I think he'd suit a bench place this year?



He could give BMM a rest and take a spot in the back row, but also be able to cover pretty much any position bar prop to a decent standard.

Harvey is a bit of a conundrum when it comes to position. You would think he was a natural loose, and the U19 coaching staff have tried him there, but it wasn't a great success. Perhaps a year on and a bit more experience under his belt would allow him to make the transition. In the meantime he is a strong player, difficult to stop near the line, hard in the tackle and with good handling so yes, he could probably fill in for a number of positions. Plus he can kick goals and is as cool as a cucumber under pressure.



I am not convinced of Moran or Johnson I am afraid, and Prell is still just a vague possibility as we have not heard or seen of him for quite some time.

The academy lads that are doing pre season are 2x back row 1x hooker 1x wing/full back, I say give them a chance because one thing is for sure, they will give 110%

It may not be possible for Price to completely reverse the lack of playing quality he inherited in one close season. The decline took a few years, so will the recovery.

Livett reminds me of grix. I think he'll be quality wherever you put him. He would be in my 17 every single week if fit.

I would have like to have seen him given an extended run at Centre. He’s certainly got the speed at the moment, maybe not in a few years.

There is nothing new on Jules. It was said many weeks ago he was to join Catalans.
