Wake up at about six, big match day shave with a new razor, bounce about like a child on Christmas eve then getting the 1028 train and going to the Paramount on Oxford Road. Depending on how I feel either stay there till it is time to get the train to OT or wander elsewhere.

Depends on weather. It's been a summer's day today, but could obviously change dramatically over the next week as we move into October. Hopefully shorts - based on today - and that will have a knock on effect of impacting what goes with them as opposed to what goes with jeans. I'll consider various options throughout the week and notify you on Friday.



Current plans yourself?

Meeting brother in the Horse and Jockey Widnes at 11 and getting picked up at 12, then pick Dad up in Westbrook on the way and should be in Manx by 1 latest for a few ales.

I'm not sure why you're going to the Isle of Man when the match is in Manchester, but I reckon it will take you more than an hour to get there from Widnes, especially if you're stopping off in Westbrook first.

I was thinking of wearing a P & Y top with jeans .... hopefully no-one else will turn up in the same outfit or I'll simply die with shame

Driving up Friday afternoon after work, staying at my mums in Golborne for the weekend, I'll wear something so that I'm ready for a night out, probably get a train from N-L-W around 12ish to Deansgate, have a couple of drinks there then walk up, probably Sam Platts for a few then walk up 30 mins before kickoff, if we win back up to Deansgate, heavy night with my bro on the sauce. If we lose train back home and have a few in my old local in Lowton.

Where's the best place to be drinking in the afternoon? In manchester city centre or in and around OT?

Depending on cost, train up from London to Crewe on Friday or London to Manc on Saturday morning. Few drinks with my Dad and brother, try no to spoil my undercrackers with nerves, match, then either back to Manc for several loud pints and some food, or home to sulk till the start of the season.

Which pub in Lowton is your old local? Just wondering as I am from Lowton myself.

Full English for Brunch then off to the Rodney for a few beers before getting the coach to OT.

Back to Warrington for some more beers. It's my Birthday on the Monday. Just hope we're all still celebrating.

Either heading to the Etihad to watch Everton or catching the match in the City Centre. A few drinks in the Afternoon on Deansgate, taxi to Sam Platt's around 4pm.



Post-Match: A couple of drinks in Sam Platt's then a minibus back to the Town Centre to either celebrate a famous win or find a dark hole to crawl up in.

Many heading into city centre at all? Will be heading in about 12ish, and fancy a good atmosphere somewhere.

There were loads of people in the Paramount near Oxford Road last year, lots of singing (no drums) and they had eight cask ales named after the top 8 which I enjoyed working my way along!

We still have no idea how we are getting there and back yet!

Meet at the King & Queen at midday, then picked up by minibus at 1pm..........dropped off in Manchester city centre, then depending how busy the bars are, we will most likely head to the Oktoberfest.

Working a 6-2 so hopefully finish a bit early, coach/mini bus down. few beers in Manchester before game. Back to Warrington to drown sorrows/celebrate in Cromwells more than likely.

Nice leisurely drive home on Saturday morning. Staying at my sister's house. Four of us somewhere near the ground about 4pm, a few jars, then into the game. Straight back to Warrington afterwards and either drown our sorrows or celebrate.
