It's a game that you could analyse to death really, our defence in our own 20m or lack of it lost us the game.

Performance wise, Monaghan was excellent, easily his best game for Warrington. The left hand side for the first time in years looked threatening every time they touched the ball, Vinnie Anderson seems to have found his position.

Bridge looked lost in the halves, first half especially, couple of nice breaks in the second half, but he's looking increasingly like a right centre.

Cooper was excellent from the bench, Carvell was very good again, Rauhihi too, but he's always walking a tightrope between hero & villain with his offloading game, I thought he cost us when we'd get it back to 30-28 and he tried to keep the ball alive again, early in the tackle count, it was a poor play.

Clarke was very good, I thought in the second half he was excellent. Riley again, very good, starting to look like a fullback with every game, and is possibly the form fullback in SL right now.

Gutted really, I thought we were good, if Briers play we win, that simple. His kicking game would win us the game, I thought that's all we lacked really.

I thought our line speed was quite poor and our try line defence, which has been quite good redently, was the weakest part of our game.

our line defence was poor again and we got hit with 2 bad decisions by the ref which then resulted in KR going up the field and scoring.

Attacking wise we were excellent, yes we bombed a couple but overall we looked dangerous and Monas & Bridge linked well.

Nothing in it. A couple of bad decisions, some indiscispline and an average kicking came and still gave KR a real test. According to Phil Clarke HKR are ready to split Leeds and Saints.

not to much to complain about just Rahs silly pens he gives away i think Ts will be pleased with what he saw. the 40/20 was the moment you knew we would lose

The foundations we set out which has won us games weren't there yesterday, with poor discipline letting us down.

Out of all the players, it may have been Morley that we missed the most over Briers.

I would have kept Bridge in the Centre position but you hope if Ts knew Briers wouldn't have played, Bridge would have been preparing all week.

I thought Wire did alright. I'd even go as far to say that was our toughest win so far this season.

Monaghan looks to be settling down better now, he was involved a lot more, he played like an NRL half, looking to do things, throwing longer passes etc. In the past all he's done is tackled and distributed the ball from one side to the other.

Bridge out wide looks a real threat although he still looks ineffective in the halves, I'm sure we will still get people saying he should play at 6 and could be the next GB 6 etc but open your eyes, his last tackle options are garbage.

Captain Monaghan. It worked in parts, shame our defence and discipline was poor.

I thought both teams gave away too many penalties and was pretty stop start to begin with. Both teams defence was pretty poor on there own line. I think the result could of gone either way, if we had lost i would not of felt robbed. The game was in the balance for all the game i thought. You will deff be in the playoffs i think

Bridge strengthend his case for the centre position, he's not a half back. Monaghan might have been busy but the quality of his passing is awful and has been all season. Despite our poor defence we would have won that with more quality from the half backs.

I know we shouldn't be concerned with any team other than our own, but if Hull KR are a true reflection of the second best side in the competition then I'm afraid we have a poor product this year.

The decision not to penalise that high tackle was one of many he let go, loads of grapple tackles Warrington got away with but it keeps the game flowing.

The knock on decision well yeah thats a mistake but in the heat of it with a load of players in front of you I would suggest its an easy mistake to make. Was also justice taking shape as Ben Galea had gone to catch one ball that went over his head bounced behind him then went forward and Silverwood classed that as a knock on too so as the great Morgan always says "these things tend to even themselves up over the course of the season".

Rovers were not at their best yesterday but as ever this season we play what is put in front of us not always at our best but we are getting the job done maybe not ugly but deffinately not pretty.

Both teams need to sort their discipline out, dont know if Justin is trying to tap into Nathan Browns tactics of working the ruck area but its not an art form we're up with just yet! Still in saying this we're not giving away the 25+ penalties a game like last year so maybe we're moaning about nothing!

Also dont forget Rovers were missing Chev Walker, Stanley Gene, Nick Fozzard, Rhys Lovegrove and Ben Cockayne so we too were missing 5 regular first teamers.

Care to point out where? I thought we were unlucky to lose a close game, alot of decisions went against us but they even themselves put over the season. 48 mins on the clock was when we first heard a real HKR chant...(notably the first time you took the lead).

Which first half though because we were singing from the first half of the Hull v Cas game if not before! Just our first half was a bit of a quietner!

On the whole your fans were great, some right you know what's though making threatening gestures when we scored our first.

Without Briers we are usually rudderless but we played well and with a little more luck/bounce of the ball, we could have won.

We missed the forwards for the yardage, the defence & the spell periods. We compensated by having our props on the field for longer than we would have liked on a sapping pitch. We also compensated by having the back row take more ball in.

When they were knackered we let in soft tries & gave away soft penalties.

When things were e, all we asked for was to play to their best & show some pride. They did that so I'm happy enough.
