You’re right, I was just making a sweeping statement putting two and two together after the earlier COVID breach and the York coach’s veiled statement.

Looking at the Whitehaven v Dewsbury highlights, two of Dewsbury's three tries came from long balls from Riley Dean to his right wingman. That's not a bad start as he came off the bench and will not have developed any sort of understanding with the rest of the players yet.

Any game time for Riley Dean would be good for him, as with Widdop nearing fitness, he's fourth choice HB with the Wire.
