Just watched the NRL Grand Final and what a fantastic game. Two superb teams playing great rugby North Queensland having the master in Jonathan Thurston as well as lots of other talent and the Broncos with amazing defence.
The refereeing was excellent and the use of video refs was quick and only used when necessary. The speed of the play the ball all our refs could learn from.
The commentary was also first class. No bias and some great reads by Phil Gould. He might be controversial but at least he knows what's going on unlike that idiot Stevo.
Sadly didn't see much of Mitch Dodds in the game.

the Jonathan Thurston story of him sitting on the pitch with his daughter and her black doll after the final, is making headlines around the world. Earlier today it was the 4th most read story on the BBC news site.
dont bother looking on the daily mail website.......chuff all about our sport on there....

Amazing game.
Cameron Smith said last week that if Jonathan Thurston lead Cowboys to win the GF it would make him the greatest ever rugby player. Anyone else agree with that?
