Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. If you are having problems logging in, please try a different browser or platform, if problems persist then email support@rlfans.com

| On current form I would say our best hooker is Brad Dwyer. I have seen him play a few times for the Broncos this year and he has been excellent - tough in defence and a threat every time he touches the ball from dummy half. He started the season as the interchange hooker behind experienced Aussie Ray Nasso, but after a couple of games the roles were reversed with Brad now keeping Nasso on the bench. I know Championship is a different kettle of fish to Super League but Brad has really stood out so far this season at this level.

Quote ="Trisprint"Come on WFIII, don't you think Clark deserves a little 'bashing'. No one was looking forward more than me to seeing the current MoS in the primrose and blue, I was even willing to forgive his ill-conceived quoted soundbites from pre-season about going to Aus in a couple of years, but for the life of me I can't look back at one performance of his that gives me optimism for his future here. Now whether it's due to the way he's being told to play is another matter, but up to now he has been dreadful for a player with so much talent.'" />
I believe it's simply down to the way he has been told to play. When he was at Cas, he had free reign and you could tell, he was scooting from dummy half, creating line breaks, scoring tries from 40-50 metres out. />
He's not done any of that as yet at Warrington and I simply believe he's been told to be more rigid and less creative and it shows. He's a lot slower in the ruck, rarely scoots from dummy half anymore and doesn't look as much of a threat as he did last year. />
Yes, the part about mentioning going to Australia was a bit ill conceived, but he wouldn't be the first person to say it and he certainly won't be the last. If he does want that move to Australia, he'll need to play a lot better than he has been but that may involve removing the shackles somewhat. />
Some constructive criticism is fine, but some of the crap he has been getting is ridiculous. He's been abused on Twitter by a poster on here, he gets nothing but stick, but that's the kind of fan Warrington have now. All the hanger-on, glory supporting JCL's have joined the bandwagon since we won the CC in 2009. Now after winning 3 CC's, 1 LLS and been in 2 Grand Finals, we're not doing very well, these "fans" are getting annoyed because all they know is success, whereas the people who have supported Wire for years during the tumbleweed stages when we had a s**t team know that patience is a virtue. />
Wouldn't surprise me if we only get about 7K for the Wakey game.

| As much as it sounds Dwyer has been cutting the mustard, I wouldn't want to ruin his confidence by bringing him back into the kaos that is Wolves at moment, leave him for rest of season and get him back next year when higham has departed good to go!!
I've defended Clark so far but he was poor at widnes and this weekend, so a third strike against wakey I may change my opinion!!

The thing is under smith all our hooker's have scooted from the ruck area, with the likes of ratchford and russell joining in, i don't know why clark would be told not to do that as he's probably the best in league at doing it. Just can't fathom what is going on with clarke.
